MEET THE AUTHOR
Treasure O. Ikpea was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, where she spent the first fourteen years of her life before moving to the United States to complete her studies.
While her experience in writing began with school projects and smaller pieces, her passion for storytelling has always been undeniable. Though she once found the world of publishing unfamiliar, Treasure’s dedication to her craft has guided her through the process.
Beyond writing, Treasure has a deep love for history, particularly the intricate eras of the Ottoman Empire and the Qing Dynasty. This fascination often inspires her storytelling, weaving historical nuances into her fictional worlds.
The journey of creating Reign of Ashes was anything but linear. The story went through countless revisions and transformations before it became the book it is today.
